Vishweshwar Bhat Reviews Sanchith Sanjeev Debut Film Mango Pachcha

Vishweshwar Bhat Reviews Sanchith Sanjeev Debut Film Mango Pachcha

Ahead of its theatrical release on June 5, 2026, the upcoming Kannada crime drama Mango Pachcha received its first review following a private screening held at actor Kichcha Sudeep's residence in Bengaluru. Vishweshwar Bhat, the editor-in-chief of Vishwavani Daily, shared his early impressions of the film on X after attending the exclusive preview hosted by Sudeep for media editors.

The film, directed by Viveka, marks the acting debut of Sanchith Sanjeev, who is Kichcha Sudeep's nephew. Presented by Supriyanvi Picture Studios and KRG Studios, Mango Pachcha is produced by Priya Sudeep, Karthik, and Yogi G. Raj.

Bhat's review highlighted the performance of Sanchith, who previously studied acting and filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and worked as an assistant director on Manikya. According to Bhat, the debutant confidently handles his dialogue delivery, body language, and energetic action sequences while carrying much of the film's narrative. Bhat also noted that Sanchith's screen presence, expressions, and mannerisms closely resemble the early performances of his uncle, Sudeep.

Set in Mysuru between the years 2001 and 2011, the film depicts the transformation of an ordinary young man into a feared underworld figure known as "Mango Pachcha." Bhat praised the film's period setting, noting that it successfully recreates early-2000s Mysuru through its costumes, vehicles, and locations, representing an era before the widespread use of smartphones.

Sudeep himself contributed to the project by offering guidance during its development and providing a voiceover. However, Bhat observed that the film aims to let Sanchith establish his own identity rather than relying solely on Sudeep's star power.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Kajal Kunder, Prashanth Hiremath, Mayur Patel, Jai, Harini Shreekanth, Hamsa Narayanaswamy, and Ugramm Manju. The technical team includes composer Charan Raj and cinematographers Shekar Chandra and Swami.
