Shreya B Pote to lead Dharwad zone U-19 girls' cricket team in Bengaluru

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is organizing the inter-mofussil U-19 women’s cricket tournament in Bengaluru, which is set to begin on July 23. The Dharwad zone U-19 girls' cricket team has been officially selected to participate in the tournament, with Shreya B Pote named as the captain who will lead the team.

According to an official press release, Zoya Imtiyaz Khazi has been selected as the vice-captain of the squad. The upcoming tournament in Bengaluru offers a significant opportunity for these young female cricketers from the Dharwad zone to compete at a competitive state-level tournament organized by the KSCA.

The selected squad features a total of 15 players who will represent the Dharwad zone. The players named to the team include Aradhana Heblikar, Prarthana B Gowdar, Apoorva A Hosavakkal, Aqfinruhi Doddamani, Seema Haveri, Simrah Londewale, Rimjhim Shikla, Anusha S Menasinakai, Harshita V Naik, Avni S Yallurkar, Vaishnavi S Kamble, Sakshi K Munavalli, and Manishree R Kurtakoti.

In addition to the main playing squad, three players have been designated as reserves for the team. The reserve players selected by the association are Nidhi Patil, Triveni Gulaganji, and Disha Patil.

The event, which begins on July 23, is organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to support and showcase young women's cricket talent from different zones, including Dharwad, in Bengaluru.
