Reliance Consumer Products Launches Bombay Creamery Ice Cream Brand Starting at Rs 10

Reliance Consumer Products, the fast-moving consumer goods arm of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries, has entered the Indian ice-cream market with the launch of a new brand named Bombay Creamery.
The company announced in a statement on Tuesday that its range of ice creams under the Bombay Creamery label will be priced starting from Rs 10.
The new product line is currently available across markets in western India. Reliance Consumer Products plans to expand the distribution and roll out Bombay Creamery across the rest of the country in the coming phases.
The move marks another major push by the conglomerate into competitive consumer goods categories. Reliance previously disrupted India's telecommunications sector roughly a decade ago through aggressive pricing strategies. More recently, the company relaunched the legacy beverage brand Campa, initiating a competitive price war in the domestic packaged cola market.
Reliance's broader consumer goods portfolio includes brands such as Campa and Independence, alongside several other packaged snack and confectionery labels.
With the launch of Bombay Creamery, Reliance enters an established domestic ice cream sector currently dominated by major brands including Amul, Vadilal Industries, Mother Dairy, and Hatsun Agro's Arun Icecreams, along with various regional manufacturers.
