Mango Pachcha Screened at Kichcha Sudeep Bengaluru Home Ahead of June 5 Release

The upcoming Kannada crime drama film 'Mango Pachcha' was screened for media editors at a private home theatre inside actor Kichcha Sudeep's residence in Bengaluru ahead of its theatrical release on June 5, 2026. Vishweshwar Bhat, the editor-in-chief of Vishwavani Daily, shared one of the earliest reviews of the film on social media platform X after attending the special screening hosted by the veteran actor.

Directed by Viveka, the film marks the acting debut of Sanchith Sanjeev, who is the nephew of Kichcha Sudeep. The project is presented by Supriyanvi Picture Studios and KRG Studios, and produced by Priya Sudeep, Karthik, and Yogi G. Raj.

In his review, Bhat noted that the story follows the transformation of an ordinary youngster into a feared underworld figure known as "Mango Pachcha" in Mysuru. The narrative is set between 2001 and 2011, a period before smartphones became commonplace. Bhat praised the film's production design for recreating early-2000s Mysuru through period-accurate costumes, vehicles, and locations.

Bhat highlighted the performance of Sanchith Sanjeev, who previously studied acting and filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and worked as an assistant director on the film 'Manikya'. According to Bhat, the debutant actor confidently handles dialogue delivery, body language, and energetic action sequences. He added that Sanchith's screen presence, expressions, and style carry similarities to Sudeep's early career performances.

While Sudeep provided guidance during the film's development and contributed a voiceover, Bhat observed that the veteran star deliberately allowed the debutant and the film to establish their own identity rather than relying solely on his star power.

The cast of 'Mango Pachcha' also features Kajal Kunder, Prashanth Hiremath, Mayur Patel, Jai, Harini Shreekanth, Hamsa Narayanaswamy, and Ugramm Manju. The technical team includes music composer Charan Raj and cinematographers Shekar Chandra and Swami. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 5, 2026.
