Man killed and three injured in car and motorcycle crash on Mysuru Road near Kengeri

A 45-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured on Saturday morning after a Maruti Eeco car lost control and rammed into two motorcycles on Mysuru Road near Kengeri in Bengaluru. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 6:45 am near a local petrol pump.
The deceased victim has been identified by authorities as Sukhdev. According to the police, Sukhdev succumbed to his injuries and died directly at the crash site.
Three other motorcycle riders sustained injuries during the multi-vehicle collision. Emergency responders rushed the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The Bengaluru traffic police have since confirmed that all three injured riders are currently in stable condition.
Captured on CCTV footage, the accident sequence shows the white Maruti Eeco car suddenly losing control on the road. The vehicle rammed into the two motorcycles traveling in front of it before flipping over onto its side near the petrol pump.
The impact of the crash immediately alarmed bystanders and residents in the vicinity, who rushed to the spot to help the injured victims. A crowd of people gathered at the scene and was seen trying to flip the overturned car back to its normal position.
Following the incident, Anoop A Shetty, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Traffic West Division of Bengaluru City, visited the accident site on Mysuru Road to review the situation and coordinate with the officers on the ground.
The Bengaluru traffic police have officially registered a case under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. Officers are now conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. The police are examining whether overspeeding or driver negligence played a role in the fatal crash on Saturday morning.
