Kannada Action Drama Karavali Begins Streaming on ZEE5 Following Theatrical Run

The Kannada action drama Karavali, starring Prajwal Devaraj and Raj B Shetty in lead roles, began streaming on ZEE5 on August 28 following its theatrical release across the state on July 24.

Directed by Gurudatha Ganiga, the film is set against the backdrop of coastal Karnataka and focuses on Kambala, the traditional annual buffalo race. The story explores the conflicts between humans and nature alongside generational tensions and the region's cultural traditions.

The project was produced under the Gurudatha Ganiga Films banner in association with VK Films and Suram Movies, and presented by KVN Productions. The supporting cast features Sampada Hulivana, Mitra, Ramesh Indira, and Govinde Gowda.

Speaking about the digital release, director Gurudatha Ganiga stated that coastal Karnataka is known for its rich and unique culture, which the film attempts to showcase, adding that the streaming platform offers a way to reach Kannada audiences globally. Actor Raj B Shetty noted that the project was close to his heart due to its depiction of folk life.

The film's technical crew includes Basrur for the musical score, Abhimanyu as the cinematographer, and Vikram handling the action stunts.
