Journalists Must Learn AI Skills to Face Challenges, Says Seer at Belagavi Event

Sri Allam Prabhu Swami of Naganur Rudrakshi Math stated on Sunday that journalists should acquire artificial intelligence usage skills to handle the challenges posed by emerging technologies. He was addressing a Media Day programme organised jointly by the Karnataka Journalists Association and the Karnataka Journalists Union in Belagavi.

The seer noted that digital media is transforming the journalism industry rapidly, with AI anchors now presenting news on television channels and web portals. Emphasising the need to adapt to changing times, he said media professionals must enhance their skills to stay relevant. Speaking at the event, Kittur Rani Channamma University Vice-Chancellor C.M. Belagavi City Corporation Commissioner Karthik M. similarly urged journalists to remain vigilant against the spread of fake news and misinformation.
