IndiGo Ahmedabad Flight Delayed at Bengaluru Airport After Hoax Bomb Threat Note Found

An Ahmedabad-bound IndiGo flight was delayed at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru late on Thursday after a handwritten bomb threat note was discovered in the aircraft’s lavatory just before take-off.

The threat was discovered when security personnel found a handwritten note left inside the lavatory of the aircraft. The note contained a brief message reading, “Don’t go. Bomb Hai please.” Upon discovering the note, the crew immediately informed the airport security personnel to initiate emergency protocols.

Following the alert, all passengers on board the IndiGo flight were safely deboarded from the aircraft. Security personnel, alongside specialized bomb disposal squads, were deployed to search the plane. They subjected the entire aircraft to a thorough check to locate any potential explosives.

After a detailed search of the aircraft, the bomb disposal squads and security personnel found no explosives on board. The threat was officially confirmed to be a hoax, and the aircraft was subsequently cleared for departure to Ahmedabad.

The Kempegowda International Airport Police have registered a case against an unidentified person in connection with the incident. An investigation is currently underway as police and security agencies work to trace the individual responsible for writing and leaving the false bomb threat note inside the aircraft.
