GBA, Zilla Panchayat Honour 181 SSLC, PU Achievers at Nammooru Hemme Event

The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) and the Bengaluru Zilla Panchayat on Saturday honoured 181 high-achieving students from the SSLC and PU board examinations during the 'Nammooru Hemme' civic felicitation programme in Bengaluru.
The felicitation initiative, whose title translates to 'Pride of Our Town', was jointly organised by the civic and rural administration bodies to recognise academic excellence and encourage young achievers as they advance toward their future academic and career goals.
Minister for Greater Bengaluru Development Krishna Byre Gowda participated in the programme to commend the students. Addressing the gathering, he said that the students represent Bengaluru's pride and the future of the city. He noted that their academic accomplishments reflected hard work and determination, urging the young achievers to continue striving for excellence in their future pursuits.
During the event, certificates and gifts were distributed to all 181 selected students who secured outstanding results in their respective SSLC and pre-university examinations.
As part of a special recognition for top performers, tablets were presented to the five highest-scoring SSLC students and the three top-performing PU students.
The programme brought together students, families, and administrative officials to celebrate scholastic achievement and underline the value of acknowledging student milestones on public platforms.
