GBA Invites Applications for Pratibha Puraskar for Bengaluru SSLC and PUC Toppers

Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao has announced that applications are open for the Pratibha Puraskar, an award instituted to honour students who secured top marks in the SSLC and 2nd PUC examinations within GBA jurisdiction.
The awards are open to meritorious students who scored 99 percent and above in the examinations conducted in March and April. Eligible candidates include students from government, aided, unaided, and residential educational institutions, as well as CBSE, ICSE, Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalayas (JNV), and GBA-run schools and colleges operating across Bengaluru Urban district.
According to the eligibility guidelines, students appearing for the state board SSLC examination must have secured 621 or more marks out of 625. For CBSE and ICSE students in SSLC or II PUC, the qualifying threshold is 496 or more marks out of 500.
To apply, students must complete the prescribed application form available on the official website and have it verified by the heads of their respective schools or colleges.
Completed applications must be submitted by students or their parents on or before midnight on August 25. Submissions can be delivered in person to the senior assistant director of education at the GBA head office located at NR Circle in the city, or emailed directly to [email protected].
