Elderly scooter rider slapped by autorickshaw driver in Bengaluru road dispute

An elderly scooter rider was slapped by an autorickshaw driver during a heated argument on a Bengaluru road, in an incident captured on a nearby car's dashboard camera.
The video recording of the confrontation has gone viral across various social media platforms. The dispute reportedly began when the elderly scooter rider asked the autorickshaw driver to make way for him on the road.
In the dashboard camera footage, the elderly man can be seen riding his scooter and pulling up directly alongside the autorickshaw. He appeared to be asking the driver of the autorickshaw to make space so that he could enter the road safely.
Moments after the request was made, the autorickshaw driver is seen stepping out of his vehicle in anger. He then approached the elderly scooter rider and slapped him across the face.
Following the physical blow, the elderly man confronted the autorickshaw driver. The two individuals were then seen engaged in a heated argument in the middle of the road. At one point during the verbal exchange, the scooter rider appeared to raise his helmet as if he were going to hit back at the driver, but he stopped himself from doing so.
Despite the scooter rider holding back, the verbal altercation between the two men continued in the middle of the road.
According to initial information regarding the incident, the dispute broke out after the scooter rider allegedly asked the autorickshaw driver to move his vehicle and make way for him.
The exact location in Bengaluru where the incident took place, as well as the date of the occurrence, are yet to be independently verified. It is also not immediately known whether a formal police complaint has been filed by either party.
