Charred Body of 28-Year-Old Vamsi Krishna Found Near Sarjapur

The charred body of a 28-year-old man and his motorcycle were discovered in an isolated area near Bikkanahalli Main Road, within the Sarjapur police station limits in Bengaluru, on Thursday evening. Police suspect the man, identified as Vamsi Krishna, was murdered and set ablaze alongside his vehicle.
The incident came to light around 6:30 PM when a local hotel owner operating on Bikkanahalli Main Road noticed thick smoke rising from the nearby isolated area. Upon reaching the spot to investigate, the hotel owner found a man and a motorcycle engulfed in flames and immediately alerted the police. By the time officers arrived at the scene, the victim was already dead, having sustained severe burn injuries.
The deceased, Vamsi Krishna, was a native of Tenali near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. He had been residing at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Electronics City. Krishna had recently resigned from his job at a private firm and was actively seeking new employment opportunities at the time of the incident.
According to the police, investigation details revealed that Krishna had left his PG accommodation in Electronics City at approximately 3:15 PM on Thursday. He had left with the intention of picking up a friend who was arriving in the city from their hometown.
However, when the friend arrived in Bengaluru at around 4:40 PM, Krishna did not turn up. The friend made repeated attempts to contact Krishna, but his mobile phone was switched off, raising concerns.
The Sarjapur police suspect that unidentified individuals murdered Krishna and subsequently set both him and his motorcycle on fire. Investigators are currently analyzing CCTV footage from the area to trace the victim's movements, establish the sequence of events leading up to the crime, and identify the suspects.
