BMTC Launches New Metro Feeder Bus Route From Electronic City to Tin Factory

The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has launched a new non-AC Metro feeder bus service operating from the Electronic City Metro Station to Tin Factory, starting July 1, 2026. The initiative is aimed at significantly improving last-mile connectivity for metro commuters traveling between these prominent areas.

The newly introduced route, officially designated as Route MF-22ET, will utilize a fleet of four buses. This service is designed to bridge the gap between key residential and commercial hubs along the transit corridor, providing a direct and reliable connection for daily passengers.

Commuters utilizing the new feeder service will travel through several key locations along the route. The buses are scheduled to pass through Hosa Road, Haralur, Sarjapur Junction, Kadubeesanahalli, and the Marathahalli Bridge before reaching their final destination.

BMTC has structured the daily timetable to accommodate peak commuting hours for working professionals and residents. The first bus from the Electronic City Metro Station is scheduled to depart early in the morning at 6:10 am. Services will continue to run throughout the day, with the final trip from the Electronic City end departing at 6:45 pm.

For passengers starting their journey from the Tin Factory end of the route, the operations will begin slightly later in the morning. The first service from Tin Factory is scheduled to leave at 7:35 am, while the last bus of the day is scheduled to depart at 8:25 pm.

By connecting the Electronic City Metro Station to Tin Factory through these major junctions, the BMTC hopes to ease the daily commute for thousands of residents and office-goers who rely on the metro network and require reliable secondary transport to reach their final destinations.
