BJP Leader Ashoka Demands White Paper on Karnataka Guarantee Scheme Spending

Karnataka BJP leader Ashoka has demanded that the state government release a white paper detailing every rupee spent on its guarantee schemes, alleging significant discrepancies in the figures released by the administration.
Ashoka alleged that figures presented by D K Shivakumar regarding the government's guarantee schemes during an Independence Day address contradicted the administration's own official records.
Calling out what he described as "Guarantee Golmal" and a case of "one govt, one scheme, three numbers," the BJP leader claimed that the numbers provided do not add up. He stated that the public was misled on Independence Day with data that conflicted with official government documentation.
The opposition leader has called for a comprehensive accounting through a formal white paper to detail the exact expenditure and implementation status of each guarantee scheme across Karnataka.
