Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express Capacity to Double from August 17

The South Western Railway has announced that the Vande Bharat Express operating between Bengaluru and Kochi will double its seating capacity starting August 17.

According to an official statement from the South Western Railway, train number 26651/26652 KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will operate with 16 coaches, upgraded from its previous composition of eight coaches.

The revised coach composition will come into effect from August 17 for services operating in both directions, departing from KSR Bengaluru and Ernakulam stations.
