Bengaluru Cyber Crime Inspector Ravi KB Dies in Madhya Pradesh Road Accident

Police Inspector Ravi KB, attached to the Cyber Police Station in Bengaluru’s Southeast Division, died in a road accident in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday while travelling on an official cybercrime investigation. His mortal remains were brought back to Bengaluru, with arrangements made for colleagues and the public to pay homage at CAR South in Adugodi.

According to police sources, the investigation team was travelling by bus towards Bhopal when the accident took place. The vehicle collided with the railing of a bridge near the Bhopal Bypass.

Inspector Ravi, who was asleep at the time of the collision, was thrown out of the bus due to the severe force of the impact. He sustained fatal injuries and succumbed at the scene.

Colleagues remembered Ravi for his dedication to police duty, his concern for the public, and his socially oriented approach to service. He is survived by his wife, Akshaya, and two children, Aadvika and Advait.

The inspector's mortal remains were brought from Indore and scheduled to arrive at the HAL Airport in Bengaluru at 7:30 pm on Friday. Public viewing and homage were arranged at the CAR South grounds in Adugodi between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm on Friday.

The officer's final rites will be conducted on Saturday at Konasuru village in Periyapatna taluk.
