BDA to Build 10.3km Dedicated Bicycle Track Between Magadi Road and Mysuru Road

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is constructing a new 10.3-kilometre dedicated bicycle track in Bengaluru, creating a continuous corridor for cyclists away from regular traffic.
The new lane is being developed along the Major Arterial Road (MAR), an 11-kilometre stretch that connects Magadi Road and Mysuru Road.
Built along the service road of this new corridor, the cycle track will run across almost the entire length of the MAR project. The dedicated infrastructure is designed to provide a safer and greener commuting option for cyclists in the city by separating them from regular motor vehicle traffic.
The project is being executed by the Bengaluru city administration. The Major Arterial Road and its accompanying bicycle track are scheduled to be inaugurated as part of the corridor's upcoming opening.
