72-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling From 18th Floor Flat on Magadi Road

A 72-year-old man died after falling from the 18th floor of an apartment complex on Magadi Road in southwest Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Parameshwar. According to officials, he lived in the apartment along with his wife, daughter, and son-in-law.

Preliminary inquiries conducted by the police revealed that the incident occurred when Parameshwar was cleaning glass shards from the balcony of his flat. Based on a statement provided by his wife, he lost his balance during the task and fell from the 18th floor.

Officers from the KP Agrahara police station rushed to the apartment premises upon being alerted about the incident.

The body was recovered and shifted to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The KP Agrahara police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) in connection with the incident and have initiated a detailed investigation into the case.
