100 Volunteers Clean Up Tech Park Backyard in Bengaluru

A collaborative clean-up drive in Bengaluru successfully mobilized around 100 volunteers to clear the backyard of a local tech park. The community initiative, reported on May 30, 2026, aimed to promote environmental cleanliness and foster active community engagement in the area.

The hands-on clean-up drive was held in the morning, running for three hours from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. During this time, the volunteers focused their efforts on cleaning up the tech park's backyard, which was the central target of the environmental campaign.

The volunteer force consisted of a wide range of local participants. Among those who joined the effort were local residents and a group of 15 to 20 students from North Bengaluru High School who worked alongside the adults.

The clean-up also drew support from established local organizations. Members of Rotary Manyata participated in the drive, contributing to the collective effort. Additionally, GBA personnel were on the ground to assist with the cleaning operations.

By the end of the three-hour session, the backyard of the tech park had been cleaned. The collaborative event demonstrated how local residents, students, civic organizations like Rotary Manyata, and GBA personnel could work together to improve their local environment. The initiative successfully met its goals of promoting environmental cleanliness and strengthening community engagement through direct, local action.
